David Barnes (born 22 February 1986) is an athlete from Adelaide, Australia. He competes in archery. He was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder.〔(AIS at the Olympics )〕 Barnes competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's individual archery. He was defeated in the first round of elimination, placing 36th overall.
